Takamichi Todo Taka is the hero of our story, and he is an average person. He cares deeply about his little sister, Kana. He is always there for her when she needs him.
Kana Todo Kana is the heroine in this story; she is Taka's little sister. Due to her illness, she spends most of her time in the hospital. She always looks up to her big brother, Taka. She doesn't have many friends because she is always in the hospital. When there are other people around, she always hides behind Taka.
Yumi Kashima She used to be in the same class as Taka. Taka had feelings for her until an incident occurred in elementary school. After that incident, Taka hates Yumi with a passion.
Miki Kondo She is the nurse taking care of Kana. When she first started taking care of Kana, she was just starting out. Although she's a veteran now, she still takes care of Kana. She thinks of Kana as her little sister and Taka as her little brother.
Yuta Ito Yuta is Kana's classmate. He protects Kana when Taka is not around. In the past, he picked on Kana. Because of this, Kana doesn't like him, although he is in love with her.
